So we’re finally saying goodbye to the infamous heatwave of summer ‘18, and hello to chunky knits, pumpkin spiced lattes and well, the cold English weather we’re all used to.
What better way to fend off the impending doom than with some on-trend Autumnal investments?
Ankle Boots
Perfect for that summer to autumn transition, ankle boots should be a staple part of any wardrobe. Last season, thanks to the likes of Balenciaga and Off_White, white ankle boots were everywhere. Lucky for you if you invested last year, they’re back with full force!
Leopard Print
So in case you hadn’t noticed, leopard print is back, not that it ever really went away. Initially, I was a little reluctant to fully embrace this trend; I thought the wacky/bold versions of animal print donned by Instagram’s bravest fashionista’s had put me off completely. But since then, I’ve opted for subtle shades of brown and beige, investing in this pair of Boden flats, and falling in love with this Leopard print maxi dress.
Basically, if you’re not wearing leopard, zebra or snake print over the next month, I’ll eat my hat.
Midi Skirts
Incredibly versatile though they may be, buying the wrong midi skirt can leave you looking downright frumpy. I’ve had a few failed attempts at the investment buy midi skirt, but this season I think I finally got it right. This silky number from ASOS Design is a dream come true.

Ankle boots are so versatile! The leopard print trend is incredibly cute, even if it’s not one I would want follow myself. I’m glad to see it’s back though!

I still can’t get into the leopard print trend! Maybe i shluld start off small with accessories such as a belt. What I am loving at the moment is all the tartan items popping up in stores, but I haven’t tried it myself yet.
