Millennials rejoice: the Cosy Club’s vegan brunch has enough avocado, oat milk lattes and kitschy ambiance to please even the most hipster breakfast-lovers.

Vegan Breakfast

Bobby and I were super excited to be asked back to Cosy Club again, this time to review their PETA award-winning vegan brunch menu. I was so impressed with the food on our last visit, but somewhat relieved to be going in the daylight – taking photos of food with no natural light in a candle lit room is HARD.

While you’ll never convert us to full-time herbivores, I’ll admit that even occasionally eating vegan, is good for the environment, your body and for the sake of variety, sometimes it’s just nice to try something new. While I’m not a vegan, I was excited to sample a menu I wouldn’t typically go for.

We booked our brunch date in for Saturday morning at 9.30am, so when we arrived we had a table ready – this was a bonus, but not required.

What’s On The Menu?

Increased demand for vegan options has opened up a whole new world of delicious animal-friendly dishes appearing on menus and, at Cosy Club, it is certainly not an afterthought. I was so impressed with the amount of vegan options, not just for brunch, but starters, mains, desserts with a good helping of tapas in between.

We barely had time to sip our oat milk latte before the food came out. It was only a 10-minute wait, which was incredible! Bobby opted for the vegan alternative to a greasy fry up; a cooked breakfast complete with falafel, grilled tomato, field mushroom, wood-roasted peppers, potato rosti and baked beans with sourdough toast. As soon as his plate hit the table, I was already demanding to try it because the food looked that good. It tasted that good too!

Avocado Brunch at Cosy Club
Avocado Brunch

I had the equally delicious Avocado Brunch; a slice of toasted puccia topped with avocado, tomato, lime, chilli and coriander. My only criticism is that the portion sizes were considerably smaller than the regular breakfast menu. Another slice of puccia wouldn’t have gone amiss.

Final Thoughts

Cosy Club is a cracking place to go with a group of family/friends, especially if dietary requirements need to be catered for. I just want to say a huge thank you to the Cosy Club team for inviting me and the lovely staff at the Stamford branch for making us feel so welcome.

Have you tried the vegan menu at Cosy Club? Do you like to order vegan/veggie when you’re eating out? Let me know in the comments.

Cosy Club serves their vegan brunch all week until 5pm. You can book a table here.
