I have a confession to make…. I’ve never really had a ‘typical’ skincare routine. To be honest it wasn’t until I was about 17 when I actually started wearing any makeup at all. I know, shocking eh? I’m in complete awe of people who have mastered the perfectly blended smokey eye or can draw symmetrical eyeliner flicks. My eyebrows look more like distant cousins than twins these days. Let’s put it like this, I would make a really shit beauty blogger.

I rarely ever make changes to my (very basic) skin care routine because I’ve had a couple of bad reactions in the past and so unless I’m confident that my skin won’t react to a new product, I’d rather not risk it. I was recently sent the new Sönd daily cleanser, and as it’s targeted towards sensitive skin I thought it would be a nice one to try. The brand ethos:

The Sönd daily cleanser is described as a gentle but effective cleansing cream containing Shea and Cocoa butter which work together to lift off impurities without stripping away your skin’s essential moisture. The added Chamomile and marigold extracts soothe and calm your skin due to their natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
The product itself comes in a pump bottle which makes dispensing really easy – even with wet hands! To use the cleanser you simply massage two to three pumps of product onto the face and rinse with a damp cloth. After using the product for three weeks I can definitely see a difference in my skin’s hydration! Unlike cleansers I’ve tried in the past it doesn’t leave your skin feeling tight or dried out and the lush natural scent is a great added bonus. I’m so impressed with my first foray into Sönd Skincare, and I love that their products only contain skin-loving ingredients with no nasties. I’d recommend their products, especially if you have sensitive skin!
