Campfire Mug

Bobby and I don’t always do the gift thing for Valentine’s Day; this year we’re booking flights for our upcoming USA road trip and dining in with a bottle of wine. Half of me is relieved because Valentine’s is a tricky holiday to buy for, but equally I do love buying presents. I like to think I’m quite good at it, or maybe I’ve just been blessed with an easily pleased partner. Either way, I’ve picked out a couple of things Bobby already has that he really loves, as well as some things I know he would love to recieve if we were doing presents this year.

For The Adventurous Type.

Gentlemen’s Hardware Yellow Enamel Mug – £12
Imagine this: he’s sitting outside on a breezy morning, wrapped in a cosy blanket, overlooking a gorgeous landscape, sipping coffee from this awesome enamel mug you got him for Valentine’s Day. That’s some serious girlfriend points!

Blundstone Mens Ankle Boots – £140
My go-to brand for indestructible (yet fashionable) boots. I was kindly gifted some of these for myself last year and Bobby has been jealous ever since.

Gentlemen’s Hardware Splash Proof Portable Charger – £18
Give your significant other the gift of never running out of battery. This 2000 mAh power bank is splash proof and includes a handy carabiner – perfect for the adventurous types!

For The Man Channeling His Inner Gordon Ramsay.

Gentlemen’s Hardware BBQ Multi Tool – £35
Because for some guys, it’s always grillin’ season. With a spatula, basting brush, fork, bottle opener and corkscrew, this nifty tool will always come in handy.

John Lewis 5-Piece Knife Block – £125
Do not pass go, do not collect £200 if you have a crappy knife, replace it. After all, great cooking starts with a great set of knives. This is the ideal gift for the serious home cook – I actually gave Bobby this exact set for Valentine’s last year and we use it every day!

All-In-One Frying Pan – £60
Is your other half the king (or queen) or fry-ups? Make Saturday morning’s a whole lot easier with this all-in-one frying pan.

For The Alcohol Connoisseur.

Cranes Cranberry & Blood Orange Liqueur – £9
For the whiskey drinker who’s really more of a cocktail kind of guy. Give him something he hasn’t tried before – like this delicious gin liqueur from one my favourite alcohol brands. Or, you could just treat yourself instead…

Tom Dixon High Ball Glasses – £75
Ok I’ll admit, these High Ball Glasses have crept onto my list because selfishly I want them for myself. I’m sure Bobby would enjoy sipping his whiskey from them too.

Drinks By The Dram Tasting Set – £19.95
Drinks By The Dram has been on my radar ever since I worked on the promotion of their Gin Advent Calendar in December. They’ve certainly got you covered this Valentine’s with their range of tasting sets. Because nothing says I love you like a delicious shot of gin right? Hell, there’s even an Absinthe one if you’re feeling wild.

For The Jet Setter.

For The Jet Setter

Thule Subterra Carry On – £230
Stumped on what to get your partner, who always seems to be traveling? Thule’s carry-on bag lives up to the hype. Sleek and durable with a compression panel to maximise packing space, this case makes travelling in style a whole lot easier.

Gentlemen’s Hardware Flight Ready Kit – £15.99
These airport friendly toiletries come neatly packaged in their own branded tin. I love browsing Gentlemen’s Hardware for gift ideas – their products are utilitarian, without compromising on quality.

John Lewis Leather Holdall – £175
Spacious and sophisticated, this holdall is perfect for anyone who travels a lot, even if said travel is just an extensive commute. I recently got Bobby the matching wash bag, also crafted from pure Italian leather. Both products scream quality, you really can’t go wrong.

I hope you love this years Valentine’s Day Gift Guide. Let me know what you’re gifting your significant other this year in the comments!
